Voice-to-report app for construction teams
A web app and a field app that turn a site walk into summaries, tasks, change orders and finished reports — in five minutes instead of two hours. I designed both end to end, from the first coded prototype to the product customers pay for.
On construction sites, decisions are made out loud but typed up after hours — one site report takes about two hours, and a lost detail often means lost money. After the April 2026 pivot we had little time and customers ready to pay.
Interviews and site visits showed documentation is the managers' job, not the crew's, so we rebuilt the product around their day. A coded prototype in 12 days, tested on site, then a one-thumb flow — record, understand, share — with every decision linked to the second it was said.
A finished report in 5 minutes instead of 2 hours. First customers signed before launch and a beta feature helped close two deals. After launch I reworked flows from PostHog data: rage clicks −59%, mobile 21% → 58% of reports, monthly users 8×.
Led product design end to end: the web app, the mobile field app and a design system built from scratch — wired to code through Figma MCP and Claude. Iterated on customer feedback and product analytics.
