Touchscreen exhibits for an international expo
UI for the largest interactive installations at the expo, built for busy public spaces, first-time users and limited hardware.
Kiosks for the largest interactive exhibits at the “Russia” Expo: crowded halls, first-time users from a broad audience and limited hardware. Content had to read at a glance and from a distance.
I designed the navigation and content structure for quick paths to what people came for, sharpened the visual hierarchy so interactive elements were obvious, and worked with the 3D and motion teams to fit the UI into large-format installations.
The expo had over 18 million visitors. 87% reached their goal without help, and return interactions on the exhibits rose 36%.
The only interface designer on the project: UX/UI of the public kiosks, navigation, content structure, responsive and desktop UI for the exhibits.
